Our Story
Made for the way you actually live
Sleepwear deserves as much thought as anything else you choose to put on your body — not an afterthought, not the thing you settle for after everything else has been decided.
8feathers is made for women who've stopped chasing trends and started trusting their own taste. You know what good fabric feels like. You know the difference between something made to last and something made to be replaced. That's who this sleepwear line is made for.
A feather has always carried a quiet luxury — light, rare, beautiful. That's how every piece of 8feathers is meant to feel against your skin. Only natural fibers — soft-washed cotton poplin and hyaluronic-acid-finished silk — are chosen because they breathe, because they last, and because they feel the way quality should feel.
Elegance doesn't end when you go to bed. Neither does the standard you hold everything else to.

8feathers on the windowsill
The night before our wedding anniversary, I had three possible names for this brand and couldn't decide. The next morning, a crisp golden September day, my husband opened the porch door for the cool air while making coffee — and two sparrows flew into the kitchen, circling the island before heading for the dining-room window, unable to find their way out. Gently, he cupped each one and set it free. Later that morning, as I came downstairs and straightened the seat under the window, I saw what they had left behind: eight small feathers. I knew then that 8feathers was the name for the brand that I had been working on to bring to life.
I was searching for sleepwear that matched what my body needed — softer, more breathable, better made and beautiful — and kept coming away disappointed. Everything felt designed for someone else, at some other stage of life.
When I finally found the right fabrics, something changed: I felt beautiful again, in a way I hadn't expected sleepwear to make me feel. That's the standard 8feathers is built on — not comfort as compromise, but comfort as another form of quality.
Because what touches your skin matters.

How it's made
- Inspired and approved on our Oregon farm. Every print begins with nature here on the farm. Artists around the world help us develop each idea through several rounds, and every final print is approved here on the farm.
- Made in small batches by women-led partners we know: a family business in India for cotton poplin, and a women-owned company in China for silk.
- Limited runs. When a size is gone, it may be gone for a while.
